Men’s Ministries Day at Dundee SDA Church
Dundee SDA Church 25th of January hosted a vibrant and spiritually uplifting Men’s Ministries Day under the theme “Help Lift Men from the Pit”. The day’s events were a celebration of faith, talent, and the critical role of men in advancing God’s mission. Brother Davis Bankole-Browne delivered the keynote sermon, drawing on Jeremiah 18:1–13 to encourage the church community to support men in realising their God-given purpose. His message underscored the importance of recognising men’s potential to serve as pillars in the church, family, and workplace, inspiring attendees to reflect on their roles in empowering one another.
The day began with Elder Tarzan leading the Sabbath School lesson titled “God is Compassionate and Passionate”. His teaching beautifully compared a mother’s nurturing love to God’s boundless compassion for His people, setting the tone for a deeply reflective service. This was followed by Elder Johnny’s mission appeal, which highlighted the importance of men as positive role models in church and society. His message resonated deeply, fostering a renewed commitment among attendees to support and uplift the men in their community.
The men of the church further enriched the day by leading worship through heartfelt musical performances, which added a sense of unity and spiritual renewal to the service. Beyond their spiritual contributions, the men demonstrated practical service by preparing a delicious lunch and soup, led by Brother Dale. Their efforts showcased how men can lead not only in spiritual matters but also in acts of kindness and fellowship.
The afternoon programme featured engaging group sessions and additional worship activities, and getting to know the men in Dundee church. This session kept the congregation inspired and engaged and the day’s events served as a powerful reminder of the unique talents and leadership qualities men bring to their Dundee church family. It was a testament to God’s blessings upon Dundee SDA Church and an encouragement for continued growth and service within the community.
